At the Ararat International Online School learning runs on our own platform: interactive board, auto-checked homework, video lessons, certificates, regular tournaments and game analysis.
Parents often ask: how does an online chess school differ from a club at a local education centre? The answer lies in feedback. On the platform every solved task, every tournament game and even every mistaken move is recorded — and the coach sees not "a child who did something at home" but an exact picture: which topics are mastered, where an error crept in, which opening is slipping. The next lesson is built from that picture.
The second difference is tournament life. Offline, a children's tournament is a once-a-season event: nerves, an unfamiliar hall, rare opponents. With us tournaments run every week, and within half a year a child treats competition as a routine part of study: calmly recording the result, reviewing games with the coach and coming back for the next start. Psychologists call it "reducing anxiety through repetition" — we call it a habit of playing for pleasure.
And the main thing: people. Behind every screen is a live coach — 70+ specialists including grandmasters, international masters and teachers with years of experience. A child gets a coach matched to temperament and level: one needs a calm mentor, another an energetic leader, a third a tactician who loves puzzles. It is in this tandem of "platform + live coach" that the progress parents see within months is born.
Our program was created and is constantly updated by world and European champions. We have 70+ coaches — grandmasters, masters and experienced teachers. Groups of 4–6 students, instruction in five languages.
